Huesca province in Spain

Huesca - Aragon 

Huesca is a province in north-eastern Spain, within the independent city of Aragon. In addition it is the capital of the Spanish province of the equal name and the comarca of Hoya de Huesca.

In 2009 was populated by 52,059 people, nearly a quarter of the whole population of the province. That makes it one of the lowest degree populated provincial capitals of Spain.

Huesca honor its main festivals - Fiestas de San Lorenzo, from 9 to 15 August.

The anniversary of his festival falls on August 10. The party begins on 9 August and terminates on the 15. Several of the citizens dress up in white and green during the festival.

Huesca is also the place where film director Antonio Saura and his brother Carlos Saura were born, an artist of contemporary art . There is an international film festive organized every year. 

Huesca has a mediterranean climate, with summers, and wetter autumns and springs, but with some intense temperatures, as the town is based in the Ebro basin totally surrounded by hills.
